If you enjoy the outdoors and love the ocean and fishing like we do, then you know that there is much more to fishing then just catching fish. We have been busy working hard behind the scenes. We have new shapes and colors being released. These colors and shapes are currently in different phases of development and testing. We have created a new section on our website to feature these new releases. You can find this section in our Main Menu under “New Bait Shapes”. And, we invite you to take a few minutes to check-out this section. It’s our hope that you will come to more than just love our baits, like we do. For us the exciting thing about all of this is that we are just getting started with much, much, much more coming - our best baits and colors has not been released yet. This lure is an extremely effective specialized soft plastic bait that has the profile of many baby fish, some shrimp and zooplankton which you find at the water’s edge in shore and in the bluewater.
This specific soft plastic bait is very different from other baits currently on the market. Some lure companies try to imitate it, but they don’t come close. The lure length is 1.5 inches and depending on the color, glitter pattern, and additives it is highly effective both in freshwater and saltwater. In Hawaiian water’s this bait is highly effective on akule, halalu, menpachi, and aweoweo.
The blue-green glow that we use is Water's Edge Baits special blend that we developed that has some unique properties. This glow actually slowly changes color depending on the strength of the UV charge. Sometimes the glow appears to be blue and then it changes to a greenish color. This glow color is super difficult to photograph because of this quality. when you take a photo sometimes the pictures of the glow color is blue and other photos of the same bait the glow color is green and then in other photos could be any one of the shades between blue and green. It's rather amazing!
These baits are sold by the bag and each bag is usually overfilled. The bag is sold at 15 baits per bag. Also note that when glow is added to "gin clear" plastic it may cause a very slight haze in the plastic. We have done our best to minimize the haze and still give you a superior high quality bait that GLOWS.
