If you enjoy the outdoors and love the ocean and fishing like we do, then you know that there is much more to fishing then just catching fish. And, because it is our desire to help you experience the truly important things about fishing; as well as help you catch “that one fish" more than just once in a lifetime. We have been busy working hard behind the scenes. We have new shapes and colors being released. These colors and shapes are currently in different phases of development and testing. We have created a new section on our website to feature these new releases. You can find this section in our Main Menu under “New Bait Shapes”. And, we invite you to take a few minutes to check-out this section. It’s our hope that you will come to more than just love our baits, like we do. For us the exciting thing about all of this is that we are just getting started with much, much, much more coming - our best baits and colors has not been released yet. (NOTE: This website is a work in progress - We are still editing and improving this website. Also, all orders are made to order, and we are working dilligently to get all of the orders out as quickly as we can. So if you need a bait shape or color right away please visit one of the retail locations that carry our baits. Thank you for your continued consideration, understanding, and support.

Water's Edge Bait's Moi Challenge (September 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021)

We want everyone to enjoy the important things about fishing and the relationships that can be made and built while fishing and having FUN in our environmentally and socially responsible fishing contest.   Here are the tournament rules:

When:  September 1 to May 31, 2021

Area: Hawaiian Coastline (State of Hawaii)

Target Species:   Moi (Pacific threadfin)

Are there Prizes and Awards:   Absolutely

  1. Sign-up for a free customer account at www.WatersEdgeBaits.com by clicking (here). Get some Water’s Edge Baits from either our retail partner’s, our online store, or your buddy (if they are going to share).
  2. Post your catch of the target species on Instagram showing the measurements of your fish and the Water's Edge Bait used to catch the fish.  Measure from the tip of the nose to the fork of the tail.  Failure to post the catch with the Water’s Edge Bait used and fish measurements in the photo will disqualify the catch from the contest.
  3. Post catches of the target fish species caught with the Water's Edge Baits Soft Plastic Bait with the Water's Edge Bait used to catch the fish.  Enter hashtag:  #Waters_Edge_Baits or #WatersEdgeBaits in your Instagram post. No undersized fish will be accepted in the contest.
  4. Follow all National, State and Local Laws and Regulations that govern fishing and the targeted species.  We highly recommend catch and release of the fish caught, but we do understand if you are catching the fish to eat and put food on the table - Just be pono (do it the right way and be ethical) with how you catch and use the fish. Be Honest and Have Fun - these events are intended to be fun, so please be honest with reporting your catch.  Outside of this contest, integrity and honesty is everything, it defines who you are.  So let's be who we each are intended to be.
  5. Be Safe – Always keep safety first when fishing.  We want you around to fish again for many years to come.

Prizes: There will be a trophy for the champion of the season long event and the champion name will be places on a perpetual trophy board.  The champion will also receive a Water’s Edge Baits Logo Hat. More prizes are planned for this event.   Prizes for the event will always get better and never worse.
